40 Days of Winning Smiles 😁

40 days ago I had a wonderful surprise when I learned a lovely client had nominated me to win designer/seamstress of the year in The Wedding Industry Awards.

This is the most prestigious award in the industry and it put a huge smile of gratitude on my face!

40 days later I learn that I have made the finals, and my smile is even bigger! Thank you to the lovely Bek who secretly nominated me 😊

Apart from biting my nails, what else has happened to make us all smile these last 40 days?

•Almost 100 brides voted for me in the Wedding Industry Awards (thank you to everyone who voted, it makes me so happy)

•12 bridal gowns designed or altered

•21 brides married in these 40 days

•Designed and progressed 2 sumptuous gowns for the 2026 Venice Carnival

•Finalised designs and rehearsed with models for the Big Lincoln Fashion Show October 9th

•Continued the refurbishment and styling of my new premises, opening January 2026

• Interviews with the Press, and 3 lovely articles printed!

•Ordered new Christmas stock for the retail side of my business.

•Celebrated 2 family birthdays!

Its been a busy 40 days,
